2019 Yearly Focus Reading (Videos)

Greetings, Peace & Blessings to you, your family and loved ones.
So, it seems we have glided into what is being called, the New Year.  Hmm, isn't that interesting that we are in the dead of winter and calling it a New Year.  Well it's certainly a new fiscal year for the banks and tax season, however, there ain't much new happening if you live in a temperate climate like here in the US.

Have you ever noticed that the United states continent is water locked by two oceans and land locked by two countries, and has all 4 climates within its orders, not to mention the climatic and weather changes in between?  We could get into the whole climate change debate, or geo-engineering but that's not what this video is about.

So let's go back to the supposed New Year, January 1, 2019.
Again, the thinker may wonder how it came about to be a universal, or shall I say global turn of the year from 2018 to 2019, midnight January 1, 2019.  The fireworks and riffles shot off, the champagne bottles popped, first of the year kisses were planted, drinks toasted, and celebrations that began with Thanksgiving Day began to wane for just a few weeks.  But it's still the dead of winter in most of the northern hemisphere, and for some reason, folks are celebrating something New, in fact a whole new year.  Not the trees, not the grass, not the animals, not the birds, not even the insects, but the humans, they are celebrating something new, as if it really, really happened.  But what really did happen?  Who really knows, except that over spending during the previous weeks may bring in some new bills and some new headaches.

If you do a little research, you will find that the Winter solstice is really the culprit behind all this jollying.  The Catholic church in its effort to bring more converts into its fold decided to incorporate the Winter Solstice into the Birth of Christ and hold on to the traditions of the pagans while fomenting hostility against them.  Hmm, that sounds familiar, you know the old, we don't like protesters so we will water cannon them, but we will support the "rebels" in other countries, but please don't let me get off topic.

So let's look at how we all got bamboozoled to celebrate the New Year on one of the most ungodly cold days of the year, January 1.  I don't know about you, but seriously, trumping around in scant clothing on a cold winter day in parade regalia is a bit out of bio-rhythmic cycle.  Poor bones, and freezing toes and fingers, but the party and the parade must go on, after all, it's New Year's Day!  Have a beer and toast the super bowl ads, winners and sports parties.

And remember, those resolutions, did anyone resolve within themselves to save their money and spend less, during the next holiday season, cause if you did, those telemarketers and robo callers will try all they can to change your mind.  They need you to spend, spend, spend, and consume, to keep their hope alive.

Now, back in 1582 Pope Gregory XIII decided he wanted to start his own take on this time construct and do a little dabbling with the Julian calendar. (See the link in the description below for the Wikipedia version of this debacle).  Imagine the hubris.  I just woke up one day, I am the Pope and I can decide how people in my world can measure time.  The irony of it all is that is exactly what folks have been doing ever since 1582, without missing a step, except for the Jews and the Muslims,  and a host of other folks, who have made up their own calendar, and of course we can forget about the Mayans whose calendar has been purported to be the most accurate calendar as it relates to the earths rotation around the sun.  Ironically, just for the sake of continuity, there's the need for one focused calendar, while the other "lesser" calendars are utilized, making the world and its inhabitants in the industrialized world a bit schizophrenic along with all the other out of cycle things folks in the industrialized world do.

2019 in various calendars
The Gregorian calendar is the most widely used civil calendar in the world.[1][2][Note 1] It is named after Pope Gregory XIII, who introduced it in October 1582. The calendar spaces leap years to make the average year 365.2425 days long, approximating the 365.2422 day tropical year that is determined by the Earth's revolution around the Sun. The rule for leap years is as follows:
Every year that is exactly divisible by four is a leap year, except for years that are exactly divisible by 100, but these centurial years are leap years if they are exactly divisible by 400. For example, the years 1700, 1800, and 1900 are not leap years, but the year 2000 is.[3]
The calendar was developed as a correction to the Julian calendar,[4] shortening the average year by 0.0075 days to stop the drift of the calendar with respect to the equinoxes. To deal with the 10 days' difference (between calendar and reality) that this drift had already reached, the date was advanced so that 4 October 1582 was followed by 15 October 1582. There was no discontinuity in the cycle of weekdays or of the Anno Domini calendar era.[Note 2] The reform also altered the lunar cycle used by the Church to calculate the date for Easter (computus), restoring it to the time of the year as originally celebrated by the early Church.
The reform was adopted initially by the Catholic countries of Europe and their overseas possessions. Over the next three centuries, the Protestant and Eastern Orthodox countries also moved to what they called the Improved calendar, with Greece being the last European country to adopt the calendar in 1923.[6] To unambiguously specify a date during the transition period, dual dating is sometimes used to specify both Old Style and New Style dates. Due to globalization in the 20th century, the calendar has also been adopted by most non-Western countries for civil purposes. The calendar era carries the alternative secular name of "Common Era".   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregorian_calendar

But then again, is the earth really rotating around the sun, or is the sun rotating around the earth.  Jeez Louise we can't even talk about the construct of the Gregorian Calendar that has subjugated the planet since 1582 without getting into all kinds of other political babble.  Bah humbug, New World Order, it looks like you have been active ever since the Council of Nicea back in 325 AD.

Anyways, to me, a New Year is when I see green sprouts coming out of the ground, out of the trees, and the fruit flies are multiplying again.  Other wise, ain't nothing new, except taxes are due.

And while I'm at it, let me read a passage posted by chief_akil on instagram and I quote.
From @chief_akili on instagram
The saga continues. How can it be a new year when plant life & the potency of the Sun's energy is dead in the Winter Solstice? The mind fuckery is still at an all time high. When you celebrate so called 'New Year's', what you are doing is offering yourself as a ritualistic sacrifice to the Roman god Janus. The term 'Janus' is the origins of the word 'January'. Janus is the Roman god of beginnings, doorways, gates, transitions, time & etcetera. Therefore, once you summon Janus, you're opening up their gateway to control your past & future, which is your entire existence & beyond. This is why Janus is considered a two faced god because they look to the past & the future. Additionally, the Vatican being the gate for all the secrets of the world, is the home for Janus. The Jesuit Priests are the primary gate keepers. The Pope, their front man, is the modern day Janus with his mitre being shaped like a fish, symbolizing a two faced deity that has & still is controlling the global population through the Age of Pisces (the mythological Jesus period). The Age of Pisces (mitre Jesus fish) is long gone. But Janus (the Pope) looks to control everyone & everything from the time period of both the past & future. We're actually in the Age of Capricorn (the Baphomet- The Goat of Mendes). How could civilization move forward if they're stuck in the past? This is why Janus (the Pope) represents the gateway to higher consciousness since he & his handlers control all the secrets of this world from both the past & future. And that mindless puppet (Gay-Z) has the nerve to talk about he has the 'keys'. No, Janus (the Pope & the Vatican) is the one who has all the keys. Even the word 'Janitor' derives its origins from 'Janus' because the janitor has all the keys! Once they (the Eurocentric ruling class) have your mind, then they have your entire destiny in their hands. Thus, entire generations thereafter will indefinitely be programmed under intense mind controlled operations. The science is self evident.

In the meantime, for those of you who still would be interested in what the oracles have to say about the coming 12 months, contact me, and I will be more than happy to give you a 2019 yearly focus reading.  We will cover several topics, health, career, business, family relations, educational pursuits, etc.

Now the I Ching knows we are stuck in the illusionary construct of time, and it is willing to guide us through our own delusions, hoping to get us on track following the tao of it all.

Personally, the real new year of journeying for our individual Soul's destiny is the day we were born, that to me, is the most opportune time for a yearly focus reading.  However, if you would like a sort of road map of what to expect from Jan. 1 2019 to Jan. 1, 2020, as it relates to your own personal life, feel free to contact me at metaphysical.nana@gmail.com.  Bring a friend and get a discount.
I use the Zoom meetings platform. It's has a great teaching tool, works well with pc, mac and cellular, and allows for recording all sessions for future reference.

Let me end by thanking all who stopped by, new folks, please subscribe and push that notification button to be updated about all my new uploads, and for the returning ones and all of you out there, be sure to leave a comment.  I'd love to hear from you.

So peace and blessings to you , your family and loved ones, and by the way, Happy European New Year!

What Is A Life Path Reading?

What Is A Life Path Reading?

Life Path Readings can be the Most Important reading that you will ever receive. Like an Astrology Reading, it lays out a blueprint of your life and gives you keen insight into the true Purpose as to why your Soul incarnated at this point in the Cycle. This reading will outline your skills, talents, abilities, strengths and weaknesses. It will indicate what you have come here to learn and what you have come here to teach. It will pinpoint many of the challenges you have met along the way and give you keen insight into why they have occurred. It will give you tools for resolving old conflicts and give you advise on how to meet new ones.  It will give you guidance as it relates to career, family and relationships.

It is a "birthday" reading which can be referenced at each birth day. And with each birthday that comes, a follow up reading can be done to see how you have done so far and set you ahead for "your coming new year." It's an  invaluable tool for reflection long term as a reference for when certain issues and concerns arise in your life.

If you have children, It is especially helpful to have one done for each of them. What better way to prepare your child for his/her journey through life than to get a sneak preview of what their purpose is? How often have we as adults wondered "why am I here?" or "what have I come here for?"

For anyone who wants a Psychic Reading, I strongly suggest you get a "LIFE PATH READING" before all others because it will answer so many questions and bring light to whatever situation you may now be involved in.

Aunts Hold Newborn, India

NOTE: Like an Astrology reading, it is only done once. Over time it can be explored with follow-up questions.

PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEOS IN THE PLAYLIST BELOW FOR MORE EXPLANATION ABOUT THE LIFE PATH READINGS YOU WILL RECEIVE FROM NANA BAAKAN.

I do spiritual counseling and I Ching (Yi Jing) readings that can be done via, Skype, Oovo, Google Hangout, Yahoo video chat, etc. After we determine which chat process we want to use, then we need to make sure we are in each others friends' list, so everything can go smoothly when we finally meet.

I ask folks to get me two questions before the reading. Then, I will do the consulting with the Oracle ahead of time, so as to save on the actual reading time. Typically, one question requires a series of inquiries that may take another 10 or 15 minutes to complete.

Sometimes, I may have to contact you again to help restructure the question, so we can get the best answer. With the I Ching, the way you ask the question makes all the difference in the answer you receive.

After the reading is over, I will send you a copy of your reading via a download link for your reference in the future.

Through our sessions together, we can develop a strong contingency plan that will bring your Journey in this Incarnation in alignment with your Life Path and Purpose.

Please note that I use the I Ching (Yi Jing) 5000 year old Oracle System from China. I have worked with clients from around the globe; some countries including Australia, Haiti, Spain, Germany, Ghana, Brazil, UK, Nigeria, France, Slovakia, Turkey, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Philippines, Korea, Indonesia, Senegal, Liberia, India, Namibia and all over the US.

Malaysia Missing Flight 370 Plane Psychic Tarot Card Reading 3/12/14 by GreatRoland

Malaysia Missing Flight 370 Plane

Psychic Tarot Card Reading 3/12/14 by GreatRoland

After viewing this video, I did some 'research' into the deeper meaning of these cards. I do agree with this interpretation but from a different perspective. I appreciate the fact that this gentleman used the Tarot to support his intuitive position on it. I still think that we need to take a step further and think outside the box.
It's as if Psychics want to jump in the pool but they don't want to get wet. Pool full of water, I might add.
We have to get WET!!!! Our craft and genuineness depends on it. Whether we are believed or not is irrelevant. Many great seers were not believed initially. The current trends during their time was counter-intuitive, but as time passed their ideas became more and more believable, because with time comes change.
The Metaphysical World can be accessed through tools, such as the Tarot, the I Ching, Ifa, Metu Neter, and various other tools. These tools are best used to awaken the intuitive abilities that are already present in each of us. Learning how to develop the craft actually facilitates and stimulates the inner knowing. Part of that inner knowing, realizes that the perspective of one person can differ from the perspective of another. What is perspective? It is the vantage point from which we view a circumstance or situation.
I found this reading compelling in that it highlights some interesting points and gives us the cards so we can look them up ourselves. Below, you will find the meanings of the cards that I found while viewing this website..... Biddy Tarot: http://www.biddytarot.com/

  1. Page of Swords Tarot Card Meanings and Description
  2. The Page of Swords shows a young man standing in the midst of rough terrain with a sword held in both hands. The sky is filled with turbulent clouds and the trees in the background are obviously wind-blown, as is the young man’s hair. The waters behind the Page are rough and the general feeling of this card is one of tumultuous energy.

Upright Page of Swords Tarot Card Meanings
The Page of Swords reflects an abundance of energy, passion and enthusiasm. You cannot wait to get started on a new project or an idea, and to share that with others. You start all new projects, ventures and journeys with a huge amount of energy and excitement. The challenge, however, is whether you can keep it up! As with all Pages, the beginning always looks promising but something else is needed in order to maintain the pace.
The Page of Swords is almost like a green light to say, “Go for it”. There are always going to be challenges with whatever option you choose and not everyone is going to be happy with your choices but when it comes down to it, you need to follow your passions and go where your true energy lies. This Page encourages you to move forward and to get the wheels in motion, despite any challenges or setbacks that may potentially stand in the way.
This card shows you as a young and idealistic person, with lots of plans and ideas for the future. At this moment, you feel as though you could do almost anything. As a Page, you are just beginning to make your way in life, and it is important that you align with others who will not overwhelm you or stifle your direction and ideas. Instead, seek to align yourself with people who will nurture your ideas and will help you to manifest them in an organized manner. Choose a relationship that feels natural, with someone who will learn and grow along with you and give you a chance to develop your own personality and expression. You have an intelligent and sensitive nature, and you may suffer a lot if there is no outlet for your ideas and feelings.
The Page of Swords is as perceptive as the Queen of Swords. He has the ability to find out the truth regarding all matters by asking all the important questions. However, what makes him different to the Queen is that he lacks experience and maturity, so his questioning and probing may become annoying to others as he constantly asks “Why?” Nonetheless, he has both mental and physical agility and is full of anticipation, making him an avid learner and an excellent student.
The Page of Swords is also all about communication, information and ideas. This card is an indication that you need to appreciate and communicate ideas, information and theories. These ideas, information and theories may be your own or someone else’s. It does not really matter, so long as you are involved in talking, sharing and conversing with others about these ideas. You are always coming up with something new and then finding someone to share it with. You also have a way with words, being a good writer or speaker, and you are passionate about what you are doing. However, be careful that you do not engage in gossip. While this Page loves to talk and to be ‘in the know’, it is important that you use this talent to benefit others, rather than to create negativity. You may also want to be careful about what you say to whom, as you may be more prone to sharing confidential information about yourself. So, protect your privacy. And you may need to first ground your thoughts, before speaking, in order to ensure that you do not later regret what you have said.
The Page of Swords can also stand for a child or young-at-heart adult whose relationship to you involves truthfulness, the search for information and new ideas, or matters of the mind and intellect. You may have your moments with this Page, as the Swords often indicate a level of tension or conflict, and this bundle of energy may sometimes prove too much to handle. If you need to, give yourself a break from this youthful person, and return with fresh eyes. They do have a lot to share with you, and despite their inexperience, they may actually teach you something about yourself. You need to remain open to their high levels of energy and enthusiasm to learn more about the world. As a child, the Page of Swords encourages you to have fun with mental activities of all kinds, including learning, exploring, and researching. Enjoy the world of thought your mind can open to you.
The downside of the Page of Swords is the turbulent nature of intellectual discovery and inspiration unchecked by experience or wisdom. This Page seems to be either on the defensive, protecting his ideas, or on the offensive, looking for some victim of the double-edged sword of his mind. Perhaps he is seeking a confrontation in the intellectual sense or has the desire to prove himself mentally superior to others. The trouble is that he does not yet have the maturity to express himself in a way that is always constructive, and may come across as oppositional or just too ‘in your face’.

  1. Tower Tarot Card Meanings and Description
  2. The Tower shows a tall tower pitched atop a craggy mountain. Lightning strikes and flames burst from the building’s windows. People are seen to be leaping from the tower in desperation, wanting to flee such destruction and turmoil. The Tower signifies darkness and destruction on a physical scale, as opposed to a spiritual scale. The Tower itself represents ambitions built on false premises. The lightning bolt breaks down existing forms in order to make room for new ones. It represents a sudden, momentary glimpse of truth, a flash of inspiration that breaks down structures of ignorance and false reasoning. Notice the lightning bolt is oriented left to right (from the perspective of the card), from heaven to earth, and from Spirit to material. The falling figures correspond to the chained prisoners in the Devil card. They fall headfirst, because the sudden influx of spiritual consciousness represented by the lightning flash completely upsets all our old notions about the relations between subconsciousness and self-consciousness. The flames are actually the Hebrew yods. There are 22 flames, representing the 22 Major Arcana. The gray clouds are the clouds of misfortune that rain on everyone indiscriminately. The ruling planet of this card is Mars.

    Upright Tower Tarot Card Meanings
How many times have you sat safely within the narrow confines of your life, comfortable in your current thoughts, beliefs and expectations? Then, out of the blue, something ‘shocking’ happens that completely destroys your picture of peace and harmony. It blows your mind or throws you for a loop. There is a sudden realisation that your comfort was based on an inadequate foundation of false thought, belief and action. This is a humbling, frightening but necessary experience.
When you see the Tower in a reading, you may feel afraid, shaken and insecure. It is a time of great turmoil and destruction as you seek to understand how you could have been so wrong, so naive, or so blind about a particularly situation. And now, what will you do and how will you manage in the face of this shocking truth? You may be experiencing sleepless nights, depression, grief, anger and confrontation. These are normal reactions to major changes in your outer and inner worlds.
A Tower experience is any experience that shakes the foundation of your current sense of security and/or forces you to question your strongly-held beliefs, perceptions, attitudes and behaviours. It may be a divorce, death of a loved one, financial failure, health problems or job loss, or any event that penetrates to the core of your inner being, affecting you spiritually, mentally and physically. It is often descriptive of a major upheaval, disruption, emergency or crisis, and is likely to bring chaos in the aftermath of such an event.
If the Tower appears in your reading, ask yourself, “What structures in my life are breaking up?” No doubt you will already be very aware of where there is turmoil and destruction but sometimes it can be on a more subtle or subconscious level.
The most important aspect of the Tower is that with any destruction there comes creation. Thus, the Tower card represents an awakening and is about inspiration, freedom, reality and the release from bondage. It is a truth and honesty card that comes as a bolt of lightning to you through a shocking and impactful life event. It represents a necessary experience that forces you to get out of your comfort zone and to grow beyond your present level. The sudden destruction of the Tower represents the immediacy of change, and the often disorienting effects of that change. Once you hit rock bottom the choice is yours. You can revert to the self-defeating, restrictive Devil, or reach for the transformational and inspirational Star. When you begin to reach for the Star, you will come to realise that your true security and strength lies within yourself and your relationship with the Universe, and not in some false belief system or artificially-created world. Following a Tower experience, you can rest assured that you will grow stronger, wiser and more serene as you begin to develop a completely new perspective on life that you did not even know existed. These moments in time are necessary for spiritual growth and enlightenment. Truth and honesty will bring about a positive change, even if you must experience pain and anxiety throughout the process.
The Tower also represents the inner and outer structures that you have built. These structures represent your personal defences, defences that create a more socially acceptable ‘you’ by hiding your true, inner thoughts and feelings. It is like laughing politely when your boss tells a joke, or, on a deeper level, disguising your sexual feelings, particularly if you feel that they are socially inappropriate. In times of great pressure and stress, these structures will be tested and are at risk of shattering, finally revealing your true inner self to those around you. So, you need to be very careful how much of yourself you attempt to hide, knowing that one day, all will be revealed.
The Tower therefore asks you to break down the structures that you have surrounded yourself with. This can be a painful and difficult process if you resist against the external forces that are pushing you to reveal more of yourself. Breaking through this pretence can cause a great deal of anguish but remember that the Tower will fall, whether you like it or not, because you have reached your limits in this area and can no longer live with it.
Similarly, the Tower can signify your ego and the illusion of considering yourself to be superior to others. When the Tower of ego, deception and illusion is destroyed, you are free to face truth and reality without the trappings of false attachments. Are you undergoing a major shift in consciousness? Are you beginning to see things in a new way? Embrace the opportunity to accept change and move forward into a more positive psychological state, where personal freedom is the rule.

  1. Ten of Pentacles Tarot Card Meanings and Description
  2. The Ten of Pentacles is a card of culmination and final fulfilment. The card shows an aged, wise man sitting comfortably just outside an archway leading into a town. He is surrounded by his family and his dogs and wears a rich robe decorated with images of grapevines, crescent moons, and other symbols. Behind the laughing couple under the arch, a young boy reaches playfully to pet one of the dogs. This card is a symbol of financial security, accomplishment, and comfort. The patriarch is able to rest and enjoy the fruits of his labours in retirement while he looks on at the lives of his children and grandchildren. This is a man who has accomplished a great deal during his life and is now able to rest in the satisfaction of knowing that what he has created will provide value and joy to others, even when he is gone.

Upright Ten of Pentacles Tarot Card Meanings
As a Ten, the Ten of Pentacles is such a great sign that despite challenges and setbacks along the way, you will finally reach a point of completion and accomplishment in your journey. This sense of accomplishment is likely to be as a result of an improved career path, more solid financial reserves, a stable home environment and a possible committed and long-term relationship. This is one of those cards that shows that everything will eventually come together in a wonderful way and you will feel highly successful and proud of everything you have achieved. You will also feel compelled to share this success with others to ensure that they are also well cared for.
This card reminds me of the wealthy retired father figure who can now finally relax and enjoy his family and his home. He has worked incredibly hard over his lifetime in order to build up wealth, prosperity and security. He now has the financial reserves to share with his family to ensure that they are well supported now and in the future, which in turn leaves him feeling happy and content with his ability to ‘provide’.
With the focus on the family, you may be more inclined to direct a lot of your energy into ensuring that your family has everything that they need, from finances, to security and a good home life. You want to ensure that your children and family will always have everything they need.
The Ten of Pentacles shows how family, or even extended family, is incredibly important. It represents tradition, being a part of something bigger and realising that the blood of your ancestors runs through your veins. It signifies that you are part of a long chain of individuals who subsequently creates a family, a ‘tribe’ and a society. It provides structure where you can sit safely and comfortably, knowing that you are a part of history and heritage.
The Ten of Pentacles is also a card of affluence and wealth. You are blessed with material abundance and are now free from any sort of money troubles. You feel financially secure and you are fortunate enough to have luck and success on your side to ensure your financial reserves are high.
This card reflects permanence and creating a lasting foundation for future success. It is a card of commitment to a sustainable future, taking into consideration not just the short-term benefits of a particular venture but also the long-term benefits. It is about investing in the long-term and knowing that you need a consistent approach in order to achieve success that will last the test of time.

  1. Star Tarot Card Meanings and Description
  2. The Star card shows a naked woman kneeling at the edge of a small pool. The woman holds two containers of water. She pours the water out to nourish the earth and to continue the cycle of fertility, represented by the lush greenery around her. The other container pours the water onto dry land in five rivulets, representing the five senses. The woman has one foot on the ground, representing her practical abilities and good common sense, and the other foot in the water, representing her intuition and inner resources, and listening to her inner voice. Behind her, shines one large star and seven smaller stars, representing your chakras. This represents a need to open your chakras and cleanse your aura. Notice all the stars have eight points. The Star is associated with the number 17, which equals 8 (1+7=8). Eight is Strength, the quality needed to accept your faults and love yourself in spite of them. The bird in the tree in the background is the sacred ibis of thought, roosting in the tree of the mind. The astrological sign of the Star is Aquarius.

    Upright Star Tarot Card Meanings
The Star Tarot card brings renewed hope and faith and a sense that you are truly blessed by the Universe at this time. Courage, fulfilment, and inspiration are in your life. You are entering a loving phase in your life, filled with calm energy, mental stability and deeper understanding of both yourself and others around you. This card is saying to you that, over the long-term, you should have faith and trust in the Universe. A better future is waiting for you but in order to reach it you must trust that it is indeed possible.
As it follows the Tower, the meaning of the Star Tarot card suggests that you have endured life’s challenges and have been through a difficult time but you are now open to healing and transformation. Your ability to let go of damaging memories has been strengthened by contact with your true self through these difficult times. Hatred, envy, bitterness, and revenge have burned themselves out and no longer shadow your life or get in the way of your potential for future happiness. You are now also able to forgive and forget so that you can embrace new opportunities.
The Star card is therefore an important card for personal transformation. When the Star appears in a Tarot reading, be open to new ideas and growth. Listen to the still small voice within. You have a strong desire now to find or rediscover a sense of meaning, inspiration, or purpose in your life. You are making some significant changes in your life, transforming yourself from the old you to the new you, and in doing this you are bringing about a fresh perspective on life. You may also be feeling that you are finally honouring the person who you truly are or want to be, rather than simply following a routine that has little meaning to you. There is a deeper spiritual journey that you are going through which is all about bringing greater meaning and purpose into your life and renewing your inner energy. You hope your future will be better than your past. This card is the call of destiny that motivates you or compels you to go on. Your desire is not in vain as you will ultimately find what you are yearning for.
In a Tarot reading, the Star brings renewed self-esteem and increased trust in yourself. You will become aware of how successful and respected you are. You may attain a goal that brings lasting happiness and your reputation may be enhanced. The Star Tarot card is particularly encouraging when you have come through a period of opposition, negative feedback or setbacks that have previously damaged your self-esteem. The Star encourages you to have faith in yourself and to believe in yourself.
The Star Tarot card also indicates a generous spirit. You want to give or share your wealth with others to help transform their own lives. You have an open heart and you now want to give back the blessings you have already received so that others may benefit.
Does this card keep reappearing in your Tarot readings? Perhaps the Universe is trying to tell you something.

Indeed this is a work in progress, with many nuances that can be explored.

Get Your Psychic Reading from Nana Baakan

Need A Psychic Reading?

Everyone knows that we live in uncertain times. With all the memes on the internet via social media, and email, we are constantly reminded that we should live in the moment, because tomorrow ain't promised.

So How Does A Psychic Reading Help Us
To Navigate Through The Moment?

Interesting How Much Of This New Age Shindig Seldom Mentions Getting A Psychic Reading, Or Encouraging Folks To Learn About Astrology, Tarot, Dream Interpretation, I Ching, Numerology, And A Host Of Other Ways To Check Out What Is Happening Around Us.

Where's the disconnect? Hmmm…. Wonder if it's a stream of money thing. If they direct folks to use their own Psychic abilities, things that will have them stand on their own, they may lose a lucrative stream of income.

The New Age movement has simply put a new face on the old paradigm. You need somebody to "show" you the way. You need someone to "channel" for you. If they revealed that you could uncover the truth on your own, and even expose their motives in the process, that would CounterProductive for them.

No Wonder You Never Hear
About Psychic Readings In The New Age Circles.

I Use The I Ching along with 30+ years of consciously developing my intuition. You Are Guaranteed To Get A "Good Reading".

Spiritual Counseling-Psychic Readings-Workshops

Spiritual Counseling/Psychic Readings/I Ching Seminars

Here Is How I Do It.

A. Psychic Readings.

  • Readings can be done via, Skype, Oovo, Google Hangout, Yahoo video chat, etc. That way where we are located won’t interfere with getting the reading. After we determine which chat process we want to use, then we need to make sure we are in each other’s friends list so everything can go smoothly when we finally meet.
  • I ask folks to get me two questions before the reading. Then, I will do the consulting with the Oracle ahead of time, so as to say on the actual reading time. Typically, one question requires a series of inquiries that may take another 10 0r 15 minutes to complete. Sometimes, I may have to contact you again to help restructure the question so we can get the best answer. With the I Ching, the way you ask the question makes all the difference in the answer you receive.
  • I ask for a love offering of $50 for a reading that lasts about 1.5 hours. I ask folks to pay via PayPal (nanabaakan@voicesofafrica.net) in advance of our reading. If you don't have PayPal I can send you an invoice which can be paid with a credit card. Or if you wish you can mail it to me.
  • Then we set up an appointment for the reading to take place.
  • After the reading is over, I will send you a copy of your reading via a download link for your reference in the future.

B. I Ching Workshops

The I Ching (Yi Jing) is an amazing oracular system developed in Ancient China more than 5,000 years ago. It continues to have relevance up until this day. Its philosophy is its name; that is “The Book of Changes.” This oracle is the “pocket psychologist.”  It is designed to teach anyone how to move with the rhythm of life as it ebbs and flows.  It was first developed by an intensely Spiritual Man by the name of Fu Shi who's ethnicity harkens back to according to some Africa in some reports... In fact, there is a strong correlation between the I Ching and the Ifa system of Nigeria, West Africa.

Fu Shi, having spent some time studying the markings on a tortoise shell was inspired to develop a system that would help humanity understand the every day changes as well as the celestial changes in the Universe. He started with just two lines, then three, called trigrams and develop these trigrams in reflections of the elements around him. wood, Earth, metal, water, fire. From there came the repeating cycles productive, destructive, controlling and dissolving. Of course as with all Ancient Texts, changes, editions and subtractions have been made, especially in translating it from the Ancient Mandarin.

All in all it comes to us, and, from much experience it has given me, it shows to be one of the best systems around.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
  • Facilitator: Nana Baakan will facilitate these I Ching Workshops. I have been using this system without fail for over 30 years. It has guided me through some trying and joyful times. It has given me a stronger ability to intuit and helped me to relinquish my dependence upon it. Over time, one becomes so in tune, that they can "forecast" the hexagrams that may come up in a reading, providing confirmation for each life situation that it is consulted on.
  • Participants: All are welcomed.  We need at least 6 commitments before we can start a workshop.
  • Coordinator: Will be ask to volunteer in return for their sessions being free.
    • Duties of Coordinator: Keep contact information for of all attendees.
    • Be the contact person between attendees and Nana Baakan
    • Keep attendance records.
    • Send out reminders for each workshop 3 days in advance.
    • Feel free to contact Nana directly with any of the questions you need to.
  • Description: This workshop will give you firsthand knowledge about the use of this oracle for your personal and spiritual development. It will be a beginners course, of 6 sessions, for starters. If folks wish to continue on after the first 6 sessions that will be great too.
  • Cyber Workshop: Everyone should have Gmail account! That way we can all get on Google hang-out. The can also get the Google Hang-out app on their phone. I am not too sure if Apple phones have the app for Google hang-out though. We need to look into that. Either way we will have folks on the phone or on the internet. Skype or Ovoo is another option, since they do have group chat. I prefer Google Hangout cause you can record it.
  • Web Camera: Everyone needs to have a web camera on their phone or on their computer. We really need video, so folks can see what I am writing on the board. You can try eBay or amazon.com for a web cam, if not, then you can always go to someone’s house for the video chat if they have a video camera on their computer.
  • Everyone to check out the Nana Baakan Discusses Understanding the I Ching Videos on YouTube.
  • Durations: I would like to do 6 sessions, each for 1.5 hours once a week or whenever we schedule them.
    • Hour one would be for instructions
    • 30 minutes for questions and answers.
  • Love Offering: I will ask for a small love offering from each one in attendance. $120 for 6 sessions, or $100 if a person pays for all 6 sessions in advance.
    • Everyone must pay for at least two sessions in advance or $40 before the first session begins.
    • Love Offering can be sent via Paypal,(nanabaakan@voicesofafrica.net) If you do not have Paypal, and invoice can be sent that can be paid with a credit card.
